PB "lost" bluetooth hardware

Very weird. My 17-inch PB no longer knows that it has a built in bluetooth module. Worked fine until today, then I woke it up and nothing. Icon is still on the task bar, but the control is gone from the system preferences. I've restarted a couple times. Repaired permissions. Tried to run the installer from the help menu, but it keeps telling me that I have no BT hardware.

Any ideas?
 
Did you try shutting it down then powering it back up, rather than simply restarting? That has worked for others.
