Yet another GarageBand mini review (and welcome notes on iPhoto's new speed)--but it's pretty cool to hear all the GB-created music that's already popping up on the web. The author's first creation is amazingly good, especially for an app that's so simple to use.

Tip: Want to play an MP3, AAC, etc. without it going into your iTunes library so you have to delete it afterwards? Just control-click the audio file and open with QuickTime Player. QTP can open all the same formats as iTunes--even protected AAC. (I know--I do this to play one version of a song in QT and another in iTunes--just for the heck of it.)
