Putting 2.0 on friend's iPhone.

My friends has an iPhone, just not with 2.0. I offered to give it to her, but the problem is she needs her contacts, pics, notes, etc. I know this 2.0 installation involves a restore.

When restoring, will the information still be there? Or is there any way to transfer all the information from the iPhone to my mac?

sync your phone before restore, the only thing that you will lose is the notes, make sure you write those down somewhere else.
