Like, tomorrow at work, I'll be watching the clock and waiting until 1pm for the announcement (hopefully)

I am such a gigantic dork. I hope they both go live tomorrow, and aren't just announced.

Haha... I think I just came to these forums to ask because these folks would make me feel better about myself.

Non iPhone people would probably think otherwise. :\
 
If 2.1 firmware update fixes the instability of the iPhone 3G, then I'll be very excited. I'm also dying to know what the special announcement is going to be!
 
I am excited but not too excited. I am expecting them to announce 2.1, and then give an expected launch date of the end of September.
 
I have this sinking feeling tomorrow will be a letdown.

I also have a weird feeling we're not going to see the Jobster on stage.

Mac Rumors will have everything covered, as will most fan sites. You won't miss anything if you're interested.

Seems like that's been the trend recently. I am expecting we won't see 2.1 till late this month. I'd be shocked if we see it tomorrow. No more than a preview and possibly a developer release with these "secret" features included, if they actually exist.

Unless they *really* enjoy watching their stock price plummet, they're gonna get His Steveness out there; deadly, horrendously contagious diseases or no. 😉
