Funnest is the sort of bad English that seems to even be creeping into BBC news reports. Is this acceptable to Americans, or is Apple using this as a 'playful' twist of the language?

I noticed that too, but what would have been better?

"Most Fun iPod Ever"

That just sounds horrid.

This crossed my mind as well. It seems along the same lines as saying something like 'badder' 😛

apple always uses words like this. I remember some grammatical error just about a year ago, its just the way apple does things.

FUN FACT: Steve Jobs stopped using Macrumors forums after the 15th time he was lambasted fort his bad grammar.

This just kinda makes me cringe every time I see the ad. I would think that the brains at Apple could have thought of something better than this. Things like "Thinnovation" for the Macbook Air are ok because it is a completely made up word. "Funnest" is used incorrectly all the time.
