iPod touch will there be iPod touch price drops soon?

i read an article that said the 8gb will be dropped to $99, and 16gb to $199 soon after steve jobs september 9th announcement. has anyone hear this news also??
 
The old models are going to be replaced by the new models with the new price tag. I don't see those prices being reduced that low.
 
even old one is replaced by new one. it still drops the price. don't you think? now, $70 drop for 8GB, $100 drop for 16, 32GB. don't complain. Apple does the best what they do. $99? are you insane? now new nano (even 8GB) is $149. you don't know nothing about market situation, aren't you?

no...they stop selling the old one completely.

except for refurbs.
 
Most of the old stock will go back to Apple and they knew that the new model were coming so they would of stop producing them a while back to lower stock levels.
