iPod Any hack to get the new Apple headphones to work with a 1st gen Touch?

why would u need those to work???? the same headphones come with the 4th gen nano, 2nd gen tocu, and ipod classic 120GB..
its the same head phones from the last cycle!
if you want those fancy headphones....its 29.99...they aren't included with the new ipods...
and wont work with you old nano for wanting to voice record, skip songs, control volume...etc
