Importing From VCR to imovie

You'll either need a converter that takes video/audio from the VCR and converts it to firewire, try the formac TV at : http://www.formac.com/p_bin/?cid=solutions_converters_studiodvtv
or the Dazzle DV Bridge, which has mixed reports: http://www.puremotion.com/resources/reviews/dazzledvbridge/
Otherwise you can use some digi camcorders to pass-through the analog signal to firewire, not all do it, but those that do do it well.

I have done this to get some of my favorite toons, that cant be found on DVD into iMove (then into iDVD) i just line out from the VCR into my Video Cam. Then Firewire from the cam onto the mac. It worked great for me all the times i have done it.
