iPod Downloading from US app store, but am in UK?

Hi,

I am from the UK and off on vacation to NY next month so I thought I would take advantage of some of the "local" apps designed for travelers.

I want "iwant" and "yelp" but as I am in the UK and these are only available to US App Store.

These are FREE!! So is there a way I can download these? :confused:
