I'm using Fusion with my Boot Camp partition on my MacBook. I've got an external keyboard (Matias OSX Keyboard). My number pad doesn't work in Windows but does in OS X. I'm not sure if there is a num lock key or how to access it if that would make the difference. Any ideas?

this should do it...

I was having the same problem, and found a fix in another forum:
http://communities.vmware.com/message/697238

Use the "On-Screen keyboard in Windows XP"
Start -> All Programs -> Accesories -> Accessibility

click the "nlk" "key" and then close the on-screen keyboard.

your numeric keypad should now be working (mine did)!

hope this helps!

"clear" as number lock in VMWare

I know it's not an apple keyboard, but I assume it would be the same. Apple support pages say to use "Clear" button in place of numlock http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1168. Hope this helps.

Kaylee,

I know your post is old but wanted to say thank you - "clear" as num lock did the trick for me!

(Apple Extended Keyboard on MacBook Pro running VMWare.)
