iPod touch iPod touch headphone jack

is the headphone jack in the new ipod touch recessed or flush? i dont want to use apple headphones but my own headphones....
 
I'm using B&O earphones with mine. Not a problem at all. Even though the earphone plug looks recessed in the photos, it's not.
