Are all 12" PB's warped??

Hello,

Every 12" PB Rev A that I have seen are warped near the top of the keyboard on the right side? Are all the 12"'s warped, or did they fix this during production? Any difference on the 1gig model?

Mine's warped. I got it back in march and it isnt warped bad, but definetly warped.

My 12" 867 i got in august is warped too and it spent most of the past few months on a stand ...

Is the new 1gig model the same?

My 12" 1GHz is not warped. I've had it since October.

I wonder if you just got lucky or if Apple fixed the issue. I am going to buy one and I would prefer to pick up a refurb 867, but the warping has me concernced.

the rev A powerbook 12 inchers seem to all be a tiny bit warped. This is most noticible when on a flat table and the thing kind of wobbles if not placed in the exact correct position.

My 12" 1GHz isn't warped.

If warping is due to the heat issue, I think the Rev. B's should be free of that. Heat on my Rev. B is very low.

I have owned three and none have had any problems.

Put it on a glass oven top to be absolutely sure, even the best of tables aren't flat.

I am not talking about the bottom. I am talking about the keyboard. They all seem to be warped.

i noticed it when i got mine a year ago... i don't think it's a problem. it may look a bit strange, but i have no reasons to think that it's a "problem."

I agree, functionally it is not an issue. I was just wondering if it has been fixed. I am going to pick up one this week, so I was trying to weigh getting an 867 v 1.0. So I was curious to know about the warping on the two. I am 99% going to pick up a refurb 867 because the price is too good to pass up.
