Garage band and kernel panic

I installed garage band, attached my mbox and condenser mike. I ran into the same problems other people had of not being able to use the headphones out of the mbox. Now whenever I attempt to open my pro tools folder I get a kernel panic. I'm using a 600 ibook g3. Any ideas?🙄
