iPod touch Mail fetch set at 15 min, but iPod fetching every 6 hours!

Before 2.1, my iPod would fetch mail every 15 min, even when the screen was off. Now it only does that every 6 hours, even though I have fetch set at 15 min. What is going on here? Anyone else experiencing this? 😡

Am I going crazy? Am I the only person here with this issue? Does nobody else use their touch to quickly see if they have e-mail?

I know what you mean, I have it set to fetch every 15 minutes but it's only 2 or 3 times a day when it actually does it (and yet the emails I get span across a much larger time frame than 15 minutes...). Yeah, it's annoying.

So are only some people getting this? Maybe it's a bug in the firmware? I'm getting it too and it's pretty annoying.

Is there a way to get Arn to post this on page 1, to see if more people are having this issue? This is a big deal to me. I mostly use the iPod for e-mail when I don't have my laptop, and this WAS a very convenient feature.
