iPod touch Organizing photos on iPod Touch 2G

Is there a way to organize photos by date, name, etc either once they have been loaded onto the iPod or before as you set them up in the library before synching them to the iPod? I had mine organized by date but they didn't retain that once on the iPod. What to do?

Any help for this problem. I may only be missing some simple step that I have overlooked, but I can't figure it out!!!

If I'm not mistaken, if you have a bunch of folders on your iPod with photos in them, the iPod will automatically sort the photos in each folder alphabetically, and you can't do anything about it. I know, annoying.

Hey thanks for the thoughts. Looks like that is what is happening. Sorry to hear there is no fix. Seems crazy Apple couldn't have thought of this. Very annoying when trying to show project progress etc.
