Software to find and delete duplicate files?

I have just spend an hour and a half searching the internet for a FREE program with which i can search my HD for duplicate files and delete them.

A lot out there is shareware or windows based.
Does anybody have suggestions for decent freeware to help me clean up some disk space by deleting all those duplicate files I am sure I must have!?

I use Singular. it's very fast, and free.

Nominally, it's shareware. But as stated in the "register" tab, they cannot issue licenses, and the "evaluation key" has been free for as long as I can remember.
