Plotting 2 lines in the same graph in Excel
I'm doing a lab, and I was wondering if it's possible to plot 2 lines on the same graph in Excel for Mac 2004. For example, the points could be (1,3), (2, 4), (3, 5). Then keeping the same x, another line would form with points (1, 5), (2, 7), (3,8). So then there would be two different lines on the same graph.
Also, if it's possible, can you make it so that the two lines are in different colours and have a legend indicating which is which? Thanks in advance  .

Yes, it's absolutely possible.
You need 3 columns, one for the x-coords, and one each for the two sets of y-coords. Last edited by swiftaw; Sep 26, 2008 at 12:20 AM. |
