Choppy H264 Video Playback on PC
Encoded a 960 x 540 video using H264 on a Mac Pro with compressor. Brought the file size down from 5.1 GB to 131 MB. The problem is that I get choppy video playback on PC (Dell Dimension 8400 with XP) Especially at Full Screen. The kicker is that when I encode using Sorenson on the Dell using Sorenson Squeeze I can play the video at full screen with no chop, even with a larger output file size at 171 MB. I assume this is a codec issue. Also tested the smaller H264 file on a Alienware PC and had the same choppy playback.
Greatly appreciate your thoughts, suggestions, answers... |
