Maestro/Duet trouble - please help
I purchased a Duet yesterday and I followed the instructions to install it (intel MacPro dual-quad core) I'm getting a firewire connection and the hardware is showing up in coreaudio, but the Maestro software isn't connecting with it. The software comes up all grayed out and the console says "ApogeeDaemon ERROR: EMFILE connect failed..retry"
I downloaded and installed the latest patches, I'm at Maestro 1.7. Still nothing. Definitely looks like a Maestro issue because I can play audio fine through the Duet and hardware toggle/volume controls work as they should.
Any advice is appreciated!
