According to the source the above picture is the new Macbook Pro grabbed with a camera phone. Some interesting details about the Pro were also included:
The 'Touchpad Dock' rumor is false
A new magnetic opening/closing system is in place
The top of the 'shell' is gloss, similar to the iPhone and the bottom is aluminum.
The iSight is hidden nicely in the glossy frame
The keyboard is similar to the MacBook Air keyboard

If this picture is real the "TouchPad Dock" rumor is killed, although the touchpad in the picture does look like it may be made with a different material than the past -- possibly glass making the current touchpad rumors half true I suppose. Also to note from the picture there does not seem to be drastically curved unlike the original "photo" of the Macbook Pro. This is in agreement with many other sources across the web that have said that the new Macbook Pro does not have curved edges.

Also included from the source is what is claimed to be a mockup of a Macbook Pro ad designed for the Apple website. Remember the source is on Apple's design team .

You'll have to make your own conclusions but we think the images above are fairly reasonable and match a lot of the current MacBook Pro expectations. We hope it's true and will continue watching and waiting for more Macbook Pro information.

Not real.

How would they get supposedly high rez actually marketing images in addition to 'sneaked out' cameraphone pics?

Also, Apple wouldn't use the tagline 'Beastly power'...it just isn't Apple :)

I call fake, but whoever shopped it has decent skills.

Looks Pretty believable to me, quite like the design too, a black skin is all it would take to transform mine....

I dont like the black track pad, UCKKKKK

but the rest seems nice, not so sure about the keyboard though. At the moment i would just like apple to get off there backsides and release them! Come on we want MBP's!!!

How do you open this?

No, seriously, "new magnetic opening/closing system" can't possibly solve that issue. They might modify it, but there has to be a way to physically pull it apart without using tools.

And black touchpad doesn't help me believe it to be true, either.

I agree but they say that the ad is actually a mockup ad based on the phone picture.

I hope everything is fake though cos it really looks ugly ! Glossy black top  ... this is not Apple

The left-hand MBP showing on the screen of the MBP in the camera phone shot doesn't have a black keyboard. Sloppy.

That's not really a black trackpad. It's actually glass.

I think I'm way too stupid to understand that statement...

How being glass would make it seem black while it isn't black? Because "glass" is the new name for "black" color? In these photos it's way more black, matte and deep, than either keyboard or lid. So how is it not black?

Black track pad? Are you kicking? What, is that supposed to be the new "glass trackpad" or something?

These aren't the droids you're looking for. You can go about your business.

The keyboard isn't showing in that pic. All you see is the grill/speakers.

Are you sure you are looking at the right one - you should be able to see a good chunk of the supposedly black keyboard and probably some of the trackpad too.

It's also far too ugly to be real. It looks like my Vaio - and that is not a good thing.

I doubt that they'll go bi-color - there is nothing truly bi-colored in Apples current lineup. No way Steve's gonna let that abomination leave Cupertino.
if we suppose that white, black and silver are colors, the current products are bi-colors but this is tri-color and that's too much :)
