Can't add new words to Office dictionary

Hi folks,

For some reason the "Add" feature in the contextual menu of my MS Office won't work anymore. I can't add new words to the dictionary. Also, words that I have already added (like my own last name!) keep showing up as misspelled. Any suggestions? 😕

Go to Preferences > Spelling and Grammer. Chose Dictionaries, and select custom dictionary.

I tried this but it didn't work. So I added a new custom dictionary and selected it, then it worked.
