How much do you think the new MacBook will be?

I really hope it's no more than $1200, since it's supposed to be cheaper. My Black MacBook is only 1 month old and I wanna sell it to get the new one.

What do you guys think?

It depends on what model, speculation indicates that the base model may be around $999, that would be my guess as well.

Under 1000, most likely will be $999.99, not that most of us can't get it for that price currently regardless.

It will be overpriced with integrated graphics and a combo drive on the low-end model.

And because of that, I will be forced to wait yet again for Apple.

No more than the current price of $1099. Hopefully Apple will be able to meet the $999 price point with this one.

i think because the economy is so messed up...it has to be <$1000 if Apple wants new consumers.

Thanks to the iPod/iPhone halo, Apple doesn't need to lower prices to get people to buy their computers.

Same prices.
