Hello,

I have the iPod touch 1g, with tons of apps that I have bought from the app store, if I bought the new iPod touch, could I still get all of those apps on my new iPod?

Thanks,
Michael.

Thanks,

Another question,
If a friend bought my current iPod Touch from me, what would happen to all of the applications on it when he syncs it with iTunes?

Thanks,
Michael.

His iTunes will overwrite whatever's on the iPod now, including the apps (which work just like purchased music). If he syncs the iPod with his iTunes, only content from his iTunes library can go on the iPod Touch, same as if you do this with any iPod. The apps won't be valid on his computer unless his computer is authorized on your iTunes account.
