Incase Slider for iPhone 3G Battle

just wanted to know peoples opinions on these sliders. which one is the best? incase slider: white? gunmetal? or black matte?

I don't think this is a very fair poll

@Benjic, the Gunmetal is available in some Apple stores (not online yet), though I don't recall seeing it in my Atlanta store last week.

I don't think it is painted over black matte and it shows no sign of potential peeling. It is painted on and has a finishing coat over it.

I have the white slider on my black iPhone. It looks great and feels great. I would like to get the gunmetal one. To bad they don't make a glossy black one.

I think it could be prone to wear, depending on how well the finish is.

He's the ****, but he was wrong. It isn't painted over a matte finish. It is painted over a gloss finish, similar to how the matte is painted. However unlike, the gun metal has an finishing coat.

I'm still looking for an answer is the "new slider" fits better. I just want to ease it on and leave it, forever.

lol whatever dude. Most anything plastic is painted....you must not like cars then right?

Cars come all one color (grayish). They are just painted to the consumers taste. How should be different from a $35 dollar case?

I just think it would be a lot better to mold a simple case with a dyed plastic vs painted. I mean the case itself it not worth $35, be honest. We all will pay that but its a piece of plastic for god's sake. Probably more material on a .99 cent frisby then your case.

Hell i'd still buy one because i like them but it is what it is.

I like painted cars , and ladies faces but i'd rather vinyl siding on my house. thanks.

I've got both the Black Matte finish and bought the Gunmetal yesterday to just add some flavor so I can switch them in and out. The Gunmetal is definitely on a gloss finish and does not provide the slight grip that the matte finish does. My matte still has yet to peel and I have had it since it was released. I haven't seen any signs of scratching either. I take it out about once a week and do a full clean with the iKlear and then put the case back on.
