iPod Where are my...?

Ever since upgrading to iTunes 8.0.1, my artists under the browse music only have Compilations. I'd like to be able to search by artists. What's going on? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I see that but I am talking about the normal view. Not the grid, I appreciate it though.
