I´ve got a problem using a regular USB mouse and the mighty mouse from Apple on my Macbook Pro. Basically, it works fine but seems to slowdown to a crawl over buttons in the GUI. Really very annoying - its almost like an "accessability" feature that I cant turn off - anyone got any ideas?
(used the search,no results)

My wireless Mighty Mouse's tracking slows WAY down when I'm doing something over the LAN (transferring files to my network hard drives, using Time Machine backup to one of those drives). I haven't a clue why it does this, but it sure is annoying.

I am also having problems with my mouse's "slowness" - it feels like there is a lower refresh-rate (dpi?) than my previous non-apple machines. Is there a way to change this? Changing speed w/ the system settings has little effect.
