I've heard that it might be a problem if i connect my :apple: iMac to an UPS, this because of the kind of power supply that it has.
Is really dangerous or can I simply let it plugged in?
Do i need a certan type of UPS or is it more safe to switch the mac on without (in the worst case, what could happen?) 😕

I have been using the APC Back-UPS ES USB 750VA w/TEL & COAX 120V (BE750BB) for over a year now with my Mac and other peripherals. It turns out okay.

The iMac doesn't care about a UPS. I've run a mini and now a new iMac on UPS for years. The power they supply is still power.
