DVR Software???

I have a Mac Mini just kinda sitting around and a need for a DVR... is there any way (software) that will turn my Mini into a handy DVR for my home theater? If it helps, I also have a TV hooked up to the setup. Thanks!

I actually have an EyeTV tuner... never could get it to work tho. What Mac software are you referring to? OSX? The software that came with the EyeTV?

the new EyeTV DTTs come with EyeTV 3 software which records digital TV and can export to iTunes http://eyetv.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/home.en.html.

which EyeTV do you have? you might need to upgrade to version 3?
