Hey, where's my iMac.

I feel so left out. Just a cheap pretender to true Macdom. Oh I would have bought a PowerMac, really I would, but it was just too much. Please let us iMaccers play along. Please. Please.

That must be a mistake to not have the iMac in there, So many people must have had that as their first Mac.

I'm with the majority that has voted so far. Mine was an Apple IIE, purchased in 1983. Technically the rest of the list is a Mac!

No perfoma's? Those were like the old iMac.

Perfoma 630 CD (The CD means it came with a CD ROM w00t!)

Next mac was a Powermac G3 300 Desktop

Current Mac is a Dual 800 G4

My first Apple was an Apple IIe. I'm now on my 5th Mac (currently a 15" flat panel iMac). However, my first computer was a TI 99/4A. Anyone remember that one? Programs came on cartridges and some games came on audio tapes!

1998 - Emulated Quadra 900
Early 2002 - Classic II
Mid 2002 - Colour Classic
Early 2003 - 800 MHz iBook
Mid 2003 - LC III
Late 2003 - 1.25 GHz Power Mac

Today, I still own the Colour Classic (dead hard drive), LC III (works fine), and Power Mac (my primary computer).

Edit: There should be an emulated ][gs in there somewhere (1999 or 2000).

My first Mac- clone, actually- was a Motorola StarMax 4000/200, which is sitting on a table beside me now, acting as a place to set things on top of.

Poor old computer... We were such good friends!

I dont have as impressive history as many of you veterans

But one thing I know, I love my Powerbook17 and have loved it from the first second I got it, sometime in march '03. I've never been so pleased with a machine as this time.

Thank you Apple, thanks alot
