USB Wireless Adapter w/external antenna + N
I have a Macbook Pro CD 2.0 Ghz and I have to say the airport on it is pretty bad. In one of my classes a guy with a Macbook sits directly in front of me and he has almost full wifi signal (~4 bars), while I have nothing. I can sometimes see the network pop up but never get enough signal to connect to it.
What I would like to get is a little USB wireless adapter and I might as well go for 802.11 N.. I would like one that has an external antenna like this Hawking HWUG1A, but it only supports G. Any suggestions for adapters with 802.11 N and an external antenna? |

I have 2 of the hawking drivers.
UG1A http://www.hawkingtech.com/support/d...111&ProdID=362 HWL2A http://www.hawkingtech.com/support/d...=71&ProdID=239 Both support 108mbps, but only with the N router and the L2A I lost my airport on my ibook a long time ago and have been using both. The L2A is a lot better then the UG1A, and you can even hide it better then the UG1A. I was going to put the L2A for sale, $30 paid $55 for it. |
