How long till new MBs are in the refurb store?

Does anyone have any idea? Anyone remember last time there was an update how long it took? Just wondering, a $50 edu discount isn't enough for me.
 
Probably long enough for Apple to sell one, for there to be a problem, and then for them to fix it, then re-list it as a refurb.
