ive done a simple Google and MacRumors forum search but havent found anything.

how do you/is it possible to remove the MacBook Pro's (previous generation) trackpad for cleaning? some gunk is stuck in there and im not getting a clean click.

It's physically glued together. Do you still have AppleCare? If you do, you may be able to get the whole case replaced for the "failing" click.

nope no Apple Care ran out in Sep 2007 its a Core Duo model. i didnt buy the extra 2 years either 🙁. thanks anyway 🙂.
