I don't know what it fixes as I don't use Airport Extreme, but it seems to play well with the rest of Leopard.

Which bug is that? (I'm new to Macs, sorry.)

As for the the update, I hope it doesn't nix iPhone tethering, and I hope it fixes the intermittent drops when I am tethered.

"The leopard wireless bug" refers to basically any wifi problem that happens on a machine running 10.5.

My God you mean my MBP might not drop connection randomly anymore?

No, that'd be too good to be true.

Hey thanks for the link to my original thread. [edit: wait... this isn't the thread I did... which one of us had it first]

And while I have never really experienced any AirPort issues on my MBP... the update appears to be running fine for me as well.

Previous to this update, I have major connectivity issues. I kept losing the signal from 5 bars, to 2 bars, and I had to keep turning it on/off to get it working properly. Hopefully this update fixes it.

Anyone have the same problem as me, and updated today and found out if it fixed it?

Same for me...I also tried to download the file from Apple site and there is an error message saying that they ran into technical difficulties or the link can't be found...

Looks like Apple took it down after going directly to their website to grab this update.

Get a cannot process command: internal error

Why would they take it down? Did they find a problem with it? Was it just a joke? What's up?

Yeah; have a feb. 08 MBP myself. Installed the update (through software update) but the link does seem to be broken now. Coincidentally, this doesn't fix the random dropping issues, as my wireless just dropped randomly (works fine of course after restarting).

I can't wait for Snow Leopard.

Doesn't show on my MBP 15" Core Duo 2.16GHz.

Shows on my Mac Pro 2.8 Octo (2008).

Both run 10.5.5 and have terrible wireless connections - the iMac 24" 2.8GHz running Tiger in the same room has no issues.

The laptop is the worst off, of course, so it's disappointing that this update doesn't show on it...

Doesn't show up on my MBP C2D 2.33GHz. Tried to follow the link to the Apple website, but there the download link gives me an error.
