If I remember correctly the new stereo, dual driver, "they finally got it right" earbuds are supposed to be available in October. All right, I know we have eight days left but are there any rumors about when they'll show up? I've been holding off purchasing a replacement set and have to listen through the speaker. I just hope these are a lot better than the last version of buds. They sounded terrible.

im also waiting for the new in ear earphone.. stopped by apple store last week.. one of rep told me this week sometimes.. but still coming soon on the apple site.. 🙁

In ear earphone, yup waiting too!! Too bad they're not for the iPhone!!!

Check out this thread. In short, October 31st is my personal guess. Believe me the Apple employees have been trained to say "shipping" and then say "we have no control over shipping times".

I don't understand why they wouldn't put iPhone support in. Any ideas? I'll be getting an iPhone soon and would like to have a quality pair of headphones with a mic (for phone calls), but nothing seems to be worth buying. It's really frustrating actually, I got super pumped about these new headphones but was quickly shot down when I saw the iPhone wasn't listed under compatible devices.

Did I miss something? I assumed they would be compatible with the iphone, after all, there is a mic built in. Was it published somewhere that they are not?

My guess is that they needed to add another connection in the headphone jack. Like the current one has 3 connection bands on the connector. They probably need four.

I can't find the listing on Apple store site.
Just the $29 in ear headphones.

I wonder if they are having production problems?
