I have just recieved two Switches from Cisco (G4 Powered) That for the uplink use a technology called GigaWire which transfers 800mb per second. It looks exactly the same as FireWire and there is a Firewire and Gigawire Trademark in the Manual.

Also the Logo for Gigawire is exactly the same as FireWire.
