Doesn't the blue pin identify the GPS coordinates of your iPhone when you snapped the pic?

So guessing from this image, you can turn the phone sideways like safari and it will turn? or is it defaulted sideways?
the part i am calling fake is the little circle with the map point doesn't look like what apple would do, and plus the google on the part looks totally fake and looks out of place
