To anyone here who has a new Macbook that was ordered with Apple's SSD option, what brand of SSD did Apple put in your MacBook?

Also, would you happen to know the model number of this SSD?

I've posted this about 5 times so far, but...

Formatted capacity: 113GB
Model: APPLE SSD SM128
Revision: VAM0BA1Q

Keep in mind that this is in a Macbook Pro, but it is most likely the same one put in the Macbooks.

It is speculated that this is actually a rebranded Samsung MLC SSD.

Oh wow, I just found out about Micron's new SSD that they are bringing to market. Beats Intel's SSD's for read/write performance.

250 GB/sec read AND write speeds!

Will be offered up to 256 GB. I'm sure that one will cost a small fortune.

Looks like the models that support write speeds of 250 GB/sec require 5V to operate. Can the MacBook Aluminum handle 5V, or does it require the lower voltage 3.3? Wonder if the 3.3V will improve battery life -- I didn't see how many watts each one uses.

Does Disk Utility say what it is when you click on the drive? Or how about System Profiler?

It's a Samsung. It says it on the SSD itself when you take the battery/ssd cover off.
