i know this doesnt apply to hardware, but i was wondering...


When was spotlight first put into the finderbar? what os was it?

"Spotlight is a system-wide desktop search feature of Apple's Mac OS X operating system introduced in version 10.4 on April 29, 2005." (my emphasis)

It was introduced with Tiger (10.4).

thnaks, just curious. the older os versions had the search in the finder window. i like spotlight better
