Leopard Retail Disc in New MBP - Constant Reboot Loop?

Hello.

Has any one tried their Retail Leopard disc in a new MB/MBP?

Just reloading my new one and it seems that it does not work. Machine sees the disc, clicked to reboot and then I hear the bong noise and it enters a constant reboot loop (it is trying to load off the CD).

Just wondering if this is an issue with the disc or the mac? I suspect disc.

Best to use the Restore DVD.

This is because the new Nvidia Laptop chipset and GPU have no drivers on the older DVDs.
