iBook has no trackpad option in Mouse & Keyboard prefs.

I have just noticed - in system prefs. there is only the 'keyboard' tab and a 'mouse' tab, but no 'trackpad'!! How can i get this back? I NEED to tap!!

if you are running 10.3.2 then
system preferences-keyboard and mouse- there is a trackpad tab.

no, my problem is that there is no trackpad tab where it should be!!

did you do an upgrade or a clean install..?
may be thats the problem..

well, I did an upgrade, and that messed up, so I backed up did a clean install of 10.2 then an upgrade to 10.3!!

There definitely is a trackpad tab.
I have an iBook G4 12" and it's there.

But why do you do a clean install of 10.2 and then update to 10.3? Make a clean install of 10.3 directly.
