Has anyone download the "Haunted" application from the App Store?

Hello all.

I have just been looking in Google for new applications for the iPhone and I came across this press release :

http://www.prweb.com/releases/Haunte...web1544134.htm

Has anyone downloaded this application?

If you have what do you think of it?

I would rather wait for an opinion before I buy it myself.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Rob

A lot of people won't buy that as there's a problem with the way it's presented on the iTunes Store.

Just wish the developer was here on the forum so we could tell him

Why do you say that?

Hi.

What makes you say that? Wouldn't Apple not allow it if it was?

I am tempted.

I got it when it was free. I am glad I didn't pay for it. I won't say what it is just in case I spoil it for someone who actually purchases it and by chance it appeals to them. It is not a game is all I will say.

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't click the following link. But the app has already been discussed here.

I don't think MarkBBS was wondering about buying it, more likely he's the developer trying to plug it.

Maybe we ought to have a sub-forum just for developers to plug their apps? It'd get all this crap out the way at least.

I'd just as soon have a whoopie cushion in the App Store than have this piece of crap in the store. It's not interactive. It's not even original. It's a scam and it's even clear the developer is artificially inflating his score in the reviews (only reason he released it for free to begin with, so his friends/coworkers would download it and then give it positive ratings!). I wish I could give negative stars!

Oh, did mention it's about as frightening as an exorcist doll jumping up at you sometime into a pre-edited video? Oh wait, that's what this is! Don't waste your money!

I don't know about that. Maybe it can be called a scam but unless the developers have friends spread all over the planet, looking at the ratings and reviews world wide using moopf's search and it's doing pretty well. It obviously appeals to some and ofcourse there are people like me who think it's a total waste of space. Each to their own I say and it appears that it fills a niche market of some kind?????????????????????????????

What is Moopf's search?

Please can you let me know what the Moopf's search is and the web address. I think that will be a handy tool?

Thanks.
