Sending Mail

got a weird situation

trying to send mail using port 25 and it doesnt work from the iphone BUT it does work fine from my mac book pro

my isp doesn't block port 25

any ideas?

there are a lot of variables you are leavig out. what email servic? gmail, yahoo? are you using imap or pop?
 
Does your SMTP server require authentication? It should, in this day of spam. You'll need to know what kind of authentication, be it PLAIN, LOGIN, SSL, etc etc.

Should be able to look at your settings on your Mac, and copy the authentication method(s). Exactly.
 
I have copied them exactly...

I think it has to do with the Apple Mail and Plesk not liking each other. I use thunderbird on my mac...
