Why was the "Socialism" thread shut down? Anybody know?

I noticed this morning that the Thread titled "McCain's latest slimy trick: Socialism" had been locked. Moderator said that there were multiple complaints. I thought the thread was coming along without much trouble at all. Sure there were hard heads displayed by all, but I thought it was staying very civil and I was learning a lot.

Does anyone know in particular why this thread should have been locked? I was quite let down, (though not that surprised )

Life is a grave, and I dig it

Sorry, thread closures aren't up for discussion. If you want private feedback, please contact the moderator in question and/or submit a "Contact Us" to the administrative team.

It was closed because there were multiple post reports about it. We don't disclose the contents of those post reports or who made them, and because it was a thread in PRSI, it ranks as an extremely low priority for moderators to watch over.
