Is there anything other than iPartition (can't afford to spend $50) that can non-destructively partition my external drive? I already have files on it that I don't want to lose.
Also, I formerly had Ubuntu installed and deleted it. Disk Utility was not able to merge the partitions back together. I used a Gparted live CD to remove the ubuntu partitions, but disk utility can't extend my current partition to fill the extra space and gparted can't do hfs+. so basically i have 10 GB of free space sitting on my external drive that I really want to go back on the main partition.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
