iPod touch Create a network on the iPod

i googled it, but couldn't find an answer, is there a way to create a network on the ipod itself for use with some games that support multiplayer over wifi?
 
No, the iPod is only able to receive Wi Fi, it cannot create it's own Wi Fi network that can then be received by other iPods. In the end you'll need a router for all of the iPod's wireless functions.
