My mini-DVI adapter just came in the mail
Mini-DVI to full-size DVI, that is, for use on my 20" iMac. Now, I'm wondering: Should I get a second display, such as an ACD, Eizo, LG, etc., or go for a smaller HDTV and connect to it with a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable? With the second option, obviously, I'd be able to watch TV too, which would be handy. Just throwin' it out there.

I'm not quite sure what you want to do.
Are you wanting to use the iMac and watch videos at the same time, or do you also have a need for serious color work given the grade of monitors listed?

in my experience, you'd be better off getting a tv with a VGA input if you go that route, you're able to drive the panel at it's native resolution, instead of using of the TV standards.
