Alright everyone

Finally got a hold of my Applesac 'Colcasac' today. I've done an unboxing and a review on it. You can either browse through my YouTube channel (in sig) or go directly to the video here.

It's a SUPERB case. Very pleased with it.

I hope the reviews help those who are planning on getting one or are waiting for theirs to arrive - in which case dribbling :D
 
think maybe just different taste.. i will make a video of my current sleeve, i like mine currently cause it's simple and nice.. give me a few days, i am having exams these three days.. once i am done with it, i will post a video.. :D
 
I'd like a form-fitting half-sized messenger bag for the laptop. Maybe an Applesac with a shoulder strap.

That would be good. Just spotted a messenger bag on their website although its too big in my opinion. I think all the need to do is add a strap and possibly more pockets and they have the perfect messenger bag.

This sleeve really is gorgeous :D

I agree. Due to the front pocket that is perfect for the charger, not having some way to "close", it seems like it is only suitable for storing your laptop in another bag. Meaning, you load that all up, add that extra bulk and then you have to stick it into another bag.
 
One thing that is awesome on it is the lack of zippers, that way you don't have to take it out when going through TSA (airport security).

very nice :) I just exchanged my original Applesac ( too much shedding ) and decided to go the one you got, it's more tightly woven on the outside and feels sturdier.
 
I have a feeling your Macbook will one day wake up with dust/lint inside the outer edges of the screen. The Applesac is unique, so I can see its appeal, but it doesn't make much sense to use that kind of material on the innards IMO.
 
Nice review - thanks for posting.

If possible, could you zoom out a bit on the next one(s)? It'd be nice to be able to see everything and get a bit more context of overall look and size and whatnot.

Nice reviews, I just checked out a few of your youtube videos. As a matter of taste though the Applesac is not for me. I just get this feeling of like putting denim and wool seats in a Ferrari when I look at it. Somewhere a fashion designer is turning over in her grave!

I don't think so it's like mixing the natural environment with industrial design :D the black one looks great with mine
