I have gone from Firefox on my windows machine, where I used to have all my favourites on the bookmarks toolbar with just the web-icon. I loved that, but now I don't know how to do this with Safari?

Also, I can't seem to do with with Firefox on the mac as well?

Thanks

Glims is an addon for Safari that replaces SafariStand, PithHelmet, etc.

I'm loving it, and it has the ability to add Favicons.

In Firefox for Mac, there's a preference somewhere to 'enable favicons'. Maybe it's the "favicon picker" add-on?

Thanks will test it out.

I'm still testing Safari, not sure if I want it yet.

Also what is a good ad-blocker?

There's no option in Safari to show custom icons on the bookmarks bar. The Glims app appears to only ad the icons to the tabs, not to the bookmarks bar.
