I'm wondering if it is significantly faster than on a G4, or only moderately. I have tried VPC (with XP Pro) on my Pbook 867 12" and it is unusable for everyday business applications. Only slightly faster than W98se on RealPC on my G4 350 Sawtooth. I am quite hopeful that the G5 will make VPC adequate for everyday Windows use (when required.) Does anybody have realworld experience?

I think everybody is still waiting for the VirtualPC 7.0 to be released to see how well it works on G5 Macs.

No current Version of VPC will run on G5s. Once VPC7 comes out, hopefully we'll see some vast improvments.

Also, to help speed, try 98lite, 2Klite, and XP lite to fix Windows Memory and system problems.
