Losing Some Processors

It's been fun, but my run for the top is over. In the past couple days I've lost a dual 3.06GHz Xeon, a dual 2.8GHz Xeon, a 2.4 Ghz P4, and 2 dual 1GHz G4 XServes. Work finally caught on. What I have left to aid the fight is...

~16 2.4GHz P4's
2 2.0GHz P4's
~6 733Mhz P3's
2 450Mhz P3's
2 dual 533Mhz G4 Towers

Possibly more machines will be added later. I apologize for the large PC amount, but that's the world we live in. I have however put in an order for 2 dual 2GHz G5's and a dual 2GHz Xserve. Whenever those come around, things will be nice.

Oh, and I suppose I should say hi to everyone. I've been something of a lurker.
 
Ouch, that hurts. You've still got a lot to contribute, so don't worry about it much. And almost all of my points come from PCs, too. No biggie. 😉

i'm using 2 DP xeon and 4 PIII redhat boxes myself. they're good folders. 😀


i'm using twice as many mac procs though. 😀 😀
 
Well that sucks, but you still have a great deal of machines under your control.

Please excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by losing them?
 
Me too I'm afaid. I plan to fire up our other lab in the next week or so, but until then I'm down to about 17cpu. Looks like Shemp999 will pass me after all...

Why worry about it? If life didn't change, it wouldn't be interesting.
 
Ah hell all I have is my one tower anymore lost all 4 of my hijacked computers and haven't gone down to take a few new ones.

Lately it's gotten worse though because I have an addiction for UT2004 and I always pause folding when playing because it kills frame rates. The problem stems with me forgetting to resume folding after I'm done.🙁
